FHA or conventional?

Written By: admin on July 17, 2009 One Comment

My current mortgage is a FHA. I want to refinance and the loan officer recommends to go conventional. Is it a excellent thought. Thats the difference. Or is it because he wants a larger profit for himself with a go with a conventional loan.

As of today, conventional rates are better than FHA. And if you are less than 80% loan to value you will not have to pay PMI, you will have to pay that on FHA unless you are getting a 15 year term. Our profit would be better on FHA loans.
